It's an awesome car, really nothing to against it.

We had it for a year and a half and it's a charm. No issues, great fuel efficiency, surprisingly fast, comfortable, spacious and still fun to drive despite what people say about the electrical power steering. A great car.

Our other car (mine) is a focus st, both car have similar engines and power figures.. Well the bimmer is heavier and awd, still manage to do better mpg while being a tad faster.

Go figure..

Probably the transmission in the BMW and the ST is more performance oriented.

that's for sure, but still impressive nonetheless.

The f30 really is a great car, it may appear as a compromise to some, and maybe it is, but it's an overall-y very competent automobile.
